I'm on record here as saying kids and family should not be part of the candidates' mud-slinging and depicting the Cruz kids as monkeys was despicable. Hope that helps.

Also hope you recognize the tacky irony in Cruz sending that image to his supporters to get them to cough up more cash.

We have both held the position not only politically but concerning this forum.

Cruz's using it to fund raise is also despicable.

Its not a pc attitude and has nothing to do with being or not being pc.....a politicians children have nothing to do with politics or the qualifications of the person running for office. Its like bitching about the color of his tie or the size of her shoes.....attacking a persons family is just pain old dirty politics.....
Its a stretch to categorize it as "political correctness"....but if you insist, go to it.....

If children have nothing to do with politics, then politicians should not use them?

I feel very sorry for the children whose lives would be private for the most part if their parents weren't public figures, it is not a choice that they made.
