If that protest / riot last week was a Leftist one, they would have burned the building and covered it in graffiti and trash in an instant. The proof of that is they've done it everywhere else they protest / riot.
I don't excuse one side or the other for this nonsense, but I also see it as nothing but the height of sanctimonious hypocrisy by the Left that they only get upset about this sort of thing when it isn't them doing it. The same MSM that for months downplayed Leftist riots, arson, and looting across the country as "Mostly peaceful..." while excusing those involved in myriad ways now is bent totally out of shape when a Rightist group does one time even a fraction of what their own thugs do weekly.
I can put what happened in perspective. I'm not excusing it at all. It was wrong and those who were involved should be prosecuted just as every Antifa and BLM rioter should be, every looter should be. It was no more "treasonous" than CHAZ / CHOP just a different venue.
Now I watch as the Left and their sympathizers use this event much like the Reichstag fire to increase their political power and crush their opposition. That too is wrong. We as a nation are headed in the wrong direction and as with any turn Left, we will be screwed by the results royally.
