WAR EAGLE

Just saw this this morning regarding that last Auburn drive. I still don't know fully what the rule is but in watching this play the first thing I thought of was the Ohio State - Arkansas play where the guy for Arkansas's knee didn't go down but they ruled him down because his wrist hit the ground.

Yeah, I read about that as well. But I think differentiating between hand & wrist is a bit nitty and difficult.

Congrats Wacko. Oregon played a hell of a game. It was disgusting to watch the officials steal the national championship away from them.

I hope you sent the same regrets to the AR team that watched as the NCAA, Ohio St officials and the refs hosed them over one after the other.

'oh... 5 Ohio State players violated rules and will be suspended for five games... except for the upcoming bowl game, because that just wouldn't be fair to our pocket books (I mean the senior players) and it might effect the 'integrity' of the game'

Side note: Ohio State should be fined $10 million for any of the five players who might just happen to go pro rather than return to Ohio State next year.

It was the bowl game that put all the pressure on the school and the NCAA to keep the players elgible but the Sugar Bowl was the one who stood to lose all the money if those guys didn't play.

The NCAA needs to be reminded that it is full of shit. They should go pro, and be treated as heroes for doing so.

Not a basketball fan. I follow the NBA playoffs, and the drama concerning Lebron, the Sonics moving to Oklahomo City, etc., but that's about it.
