dear lib'ruls......time is running out.......if you intend to get rid of the electoral college by 2020 you should probably start by May 1.........
 
You do it. The libs are not wasting time on it. We know what a high hurdle it would be. We are working on gerrymandering. Ot is amazing how far wrong the righty thinking is about the left.

I am a progressive who is still trying to figure out the direction on my hipster mason bee house. Says to place in full sun, facing south, and shielded from the wind. Kind of hard to have something shielded from the wind and in full sun.

As for the electoral college, only Californians and New Yorkers care because they are so put upon that they don't get half the delegates.

I can remember in 2000 when you numb nutz thought W was going to win the general but lose the electoral college you were going to create revolution to ensure the electoral college was overturned. Oh how the times are a changin. You guys change positions with the wind. Pathetic.

For the record, I have never opposed the Electoral College. But how are you any less pathetic for opposing it now?

actually, I remember the SC saying you, Al and the rest of the demmycrats were the ones in the wrong for trying to change how the electors were chosen after the fact......you were wrong then, you are wrong now, you'll be wrong again the next time........it's what lib'ruls do....

Gerrymandering doesn't have any effect on presidential races, because only Maine and Nebraska could be susceptible to it.

Of course you are wrong...as usual...the SCOTUS ruling had absolutely nothing to do with the electoral college. Please educate yourself and try again.

I disagree. Most whites don't care but, Blacks care. Those who don't care aren't educated about it's origin.

The EC was made so that racist white men could have representation. Otherwise, this nation wouldn't be as right winged as it is now.

Dems need to be working on it or we will vote in politicians who understand the origin of the EC and will remove it..

Without the EC, republicans would never win.

One man one vote is the only fair democracy. Anything else is cheating and favoring racist white men.

You don't get it. The left realizes that the electoral college can make the wrong person president, like Trump, but there is no big deal about ending it. It is a lot of work and trouble that gets very little in return.

I neither favor it nor oppose it. It served a purpose that is largely now antiquated. Switching to nation wide popular vote for the general election would have little impact on a race for President. That said it is a system that works most of the time. I would not oppose doing away with it but would not advocate for it.
