Warren Buffett supports Hillary

"What I earned was my only cash.
Been like that my whole life. Pretty strange that now I retire and make more money than I ever did while working."

I worked in a local restaurant as well. Had to have that year round cash flow.

Let me clear something up for you freak.
My main interest in economics is to help me better understand and implement effective stock pics, and secondarily to feel good about when we are doing better than the long term average as a country.
This razzing back and fourth has been fun, but my collegial fraternity gags quote's is empty.
there are certainly billionaire hs dropouts, that would never make me suggest someone try it. Knowlege is power, much knowledge is distributed by the collegiate route, and tailgaiting at LSU games is the best.:readit:

I worked in a grocery store as a butcher at 15. Worked there thru HS.
My Dad died when I was 16 so I had to kick in money to the family as well...
I thought all that sort of sucked until I foudn out what really sucked...getting drafted and sent to nam.

So top... did your head explode seeing that GDP was higher under Bush than Clinton? Even on a per capita basis?

I understand you desire and it is good to try to understand economics with relations to the investments you are making. Somehow I doubt you have ever said... "I'll buy stock 'x' because a Dem is in the white house or I won't buy stock 'x' because a Rep is in the White House"

Would not know about LSU tailgaiting. Never been to a game there. But if it is anything like other southern and midwest venues, then I would imagine it was pretty good.

Knowledge is certainly power. No argument there. But the bulk of knowledge is going to be accumulated through life experience.... rather than a textbook. Education degrees become outdated at an ever more rapid rate. Which is why we must continually educate ourselves and refuse to become complacent... otherwise our time on top is over.

Probably learned a pretty good work ethic there... or at least I would imagine that to be the case.

I was luckier. Did not have to go through either of those very tough situations. I would imagine both forced you to mature a lot faster than I had to.

I respect work ethic more than education guys, just yanking your chains on the MBA thing had mother texaco not paid 100% I prob wouldn't have gotten it.
I started mowing lawns around 10, then go a paper route at 12. 1972 going from $5 wk allowance and a couple lawns at $10 usually spit with a buddy to $100 month on the paper route I thought I was rich.

As men, we always have the ability to revert back to that 12 year old mentality. :D

Enjoy the retirement man. Play until ya can't play no mo.
