Was the Attorney General In Charge of Ruby Ridge a Criminal?

I don't mind the outcome of Waco. Ruby Ridge was obviously a complete fuck-up.

Yeah. THAT'S the Problem. Many Americans have NO PROBLEM with men dressed in camouflage, carrying automatic weapons, breaking into private homes, at night or in the wee hours.
Why knock on someone's door and give them a Summons?
It harkens back to the days of Russian, Chinese, and North Korean 'Justice Squads' removing the 'Bad People' from Society.
It's either that or ... you're a Catholic and think the Spanish Inquisition should be brought back for everyone that doesn't believe like YOU believe.

This is a set of simple questions for the conservatives in this group. This may not seem like a "current event", but bare with me for a few posts, and I will show you that the events of nearly 30 years ago are current.

You know the Ruby Ridge and Waco raids? Was the Attorney General in charge of the Ruby Ridge raid a criminal? How about the Attorney General in charge of planning the Waco raid? What would you think of a president who knowing the outcome of these two raids reappointed this person as Attorney General?

G H Bush was president and Barr was AG during Ruby Ridge. Clinto was president and Reno was AG during Waco. Don't know what point you're trying to make.

The compound was not exactly a private home, nor was the government executing a no-knock warrant.

Janet “Red Army “ Reno killed those 25 kids in Waco and shot an unarmed boy then mother with a baby in Ruby Ridge
The Ms. Hitler with glasses should have been in prison.

It only gave birth to Timothy Mcvay types to emerge
The FBI and ATF has always been a cartel gang

"A Gulf War veteran, McVeigh sought revenge against the federal government for the 1993 Waco siege that ended in the deaths of 86 people, many of whom were children, exactly two years before the bombing, as well as the 1992 Ruby Ridge incident and American foreign policy. He hoped to inspire a revolution against the federal government, and defended the bombing as a legitimate tactic against what he saw as a tyrannical government.[7]"

Sending in Government Death Squads to kill Americans is criminal.

What he did was as as the Govt and then some

Actually it is. We are a nation conceived in violence and expansion. We take what we want. We just hope it stops at our shore, but it doesn't.

That's kind of how any nation of significant size is created. All empires require war.

Throughout most of history, it's kill or be killed.

Granted, I'm not saying our current level of interventionism is beneficial to our nation as a whole.

The point I am making is you cannot think Ruby Ridge was a deep state plot against America, and support trump appointing the man behind it to be Attorney General. Pick one or the other.

Barr has a long career from Epstein to Flynn of making legally questionable decisions. Maybe he can be convicted, and maybe not... BUT, that means he should not be Attorney General.

With Waco, the initial plans were made when Bush was president and Barr was Attorney General. The initial raid happened when Clinton was President. but Reno was not Attorney General. And the final raid happened when Reno was Attorney General.

Nope, Reno was Attorney General of Florida when Ruby Ridge happened. She had absolutely no authority over federal agents in Idaho.

If the Attorney General at the time should be called "Ms Hitler", and should go to prison, that would be Bill Barr. He has not gone to prison, and trump even put him back in his position as Attorney General.

So when trump's man does it, is it OK?

Ruby Ridge was an FBI over reaction and fuckup. Randy Weaver sold two illegal sawed off shotguns to an ATF informant. The Killing started when federals marshals shot the Weaver dog who alerted on their position.

Again Waco was an investigation into illegal weapons possession that went south. No one knows for sure who started shooting but it ended when federal officials overreacted after 51 days by sending in tanks.

Neither of these incidents were "deep state". They were overuse of force by the feds.
