The media pumps out what sells like any other market producer. They are not publishing things based on what they think is likely. They produce content for frightened old people and little pukes, like you. They are constantly hyping false fears.

No one familiar with history thought there would be any riots. That all came from racists who downplayed the long history of racism and brutality in the LAPD to blame the King riots on some imagined incivility of African Americans.

You are employing a strawman. Isolated "riots" were always a possibility. That there was a likelihood (or a strong likelihood as I should have said) of widespread riots was based on nothing but racism and these clowns were really hoping for a race war. Read sjj's post where he fantasizes about how it would play out. The racists did not reference OWS or Tea Party demonstrations that got out of hand. They referenced the King riots and the reason was obvious. This case was unlike the King case and the connection is based on an insulated view of those riots that pretends the only issue was race.

I was right in the middle of the Rodney King riots, where I managed a restaurant and the cops had us close up 3 hours early at 7:00pm. As I drove home, I could see all those blazes off the 91 Freeway, while carrying my big nine on my front seat. I sure did not want to be another Reginald Denny who had his head caved-in by another thug wantabe, this one named "Football". Trayvon wasn't doing anything wrong and Zimmerman stared at him for over a minute, jumped out of his vehicle and followed him when Trayvon tried to exit the situation. Everyone at that age thinks they are tough and I've seen MULTIPLE old High School friends that use to do hard drugs criticizing Trayvon for weed, when they did much worse.
I use to fist fight and thought it was the way of life because I was Country. I had a pistol when I was 13. I knew fighting was fighting and weapons is the line where the least educated step in the situation. I still fought.
The only difference between me and Trayvon I see is that he smoked pot.

Every ethnicity/race can or has rioted, but the facts and history prove that "Blacks" riot moore than the other groups when "they" do not get their way, kind of like spoiled bratty Lib kids. The OJ trial, with their minority jury, is a good example of a riot in the making, except that jury "did their thing" and used jury nulification of the facts to prevent a riot.

If "they" did riot, they would get the sheet kicked out of them, so that is not a solution. The real solution here is to bust up the street gangs, and that would really help African Americans, then we can tackle the Education problem. Zimmerman trial witness Rachel Jentile was not a stupid person, but she sounded that way because she spoke using Black Ebonics. Way back on the Old Board, I posted how the Oakland California School Board wanted to teach Ebonics in school, all true, luckily that was "shot" down by the higher-ups.
