I'm sure we're doing much better than your isolated little hamlet, whatever and wherever it is.
LOL, that's a bold statement, considering you admit that you don't have a clue where I live...

Champions of what?
You name it, we perfected it.

It was many years ago -sometimes in the early 80's -I had to go there on a business trip, and found the place surprisingly livable.
I likes the ethic flair -was surprised to see that, and the rivers (?).

I think it's mainly because we're intellectual giants.
Intellectual giants who stay in Pittsburgh?
I guess Fashion Week and the trunk show season hold little appeal to somebody who has Ross Park Mall on their doorstep...

Paris, NYC, and Milan were just ghost towns that week.
All the top designers were in Pittsburgh...and the buyers for Dress Barn were there too, I bet.

hmm. no i didn't. I work weekends. Pitts?Did you see who Cleveland beat today?
The weather patterns have changed over the past few years. Our growing zone went from 5 to 6. A few years ago I took a snap of my roses blooming on a trellis in December. They kept going until an ice storm finally shut them down. I think it was last year, the rivers didn't freeze.
Visitors are always pleasantly surprised how nice the city is and how nice the people, too.

Wow!! Never , EVER count out the Steelers!!
