Watching the LA Fire Press Conference officials. Six of seven are women.

In 1978 DEI wasn't a common practice, was it? Are you suggesting that late Paul "Bear" Bryant would have countenanced the replacement of Jeff Rutledge, Lou Ikner, Major Ogilvie, Bruce Bolton, and Jerry Murphree by lesbians if it had been, paw paw?

How many of the lesbians - who are all women, apparently - are you prepared to champion based solely upon their accomplishments, experience and merit, paw paw?

Roll, Tide!

And what, exactly, are the qualifications of the 6 women giving the news conference? For that matter, what are the qualifications of the man on the conference panel?

For now it is... until it goes the way of the Tea Party.

All things shall pass.

Jerry Murphree was an American football player who played as a receiver. He was notable for his college football career at Louisiana State University (LSU) where he earned three letters under coach Charles McClendon and was named the offensive MVP in his last collegiate game at the Tangerine Bowl in 1980. Murphree graduated from LSU in 1980 and then signed with the New Orleans Saints as a running back/receiver. However, his professional football career was short-lived due to progressive heart disease. Post-football, he went on to graduate from Cumberland Law School and practiced law in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Jerry Murphree passed away on August 22, 2012, while awaiting a heart transplant.

Hope that helps, paw paw.

Roll, Tide!

It explains who he is. So why did you include him in the list of players Bear Bryant would have been concerned about.

I think Bear Bryant would have been fine with Jerry Murphree doing whatever he did. In fact, I doubt Bear Bryant would have wasted time worrying about a player he never coached.

Are you positing that the late Paul "Bear" Bryant would have countenanced the replacement of LSU's Jerry Murphree by a lesbian, paw paw?
