we are actively, intentionally, bombing a nuclear power plant.

YOu have just proven yourself to be too damn stupid to be worth further responses.

Goodbye for today, Larry.

Better luck tomorrow.
Hey, Creepy, I get that you don't know anything about nuclear power plants. That's fine, you can learn as you go. On the other hand, ITN is shoveling all sorts of insanely wrong crap here. It'd take me forever to correct all the wrong bullshit he's posted. For example:

What 'radioactive water', Stooge? Water isn't radioactive.
Water, pure distilled water, is too radioactive to a degree. Water is made from hydrogen and oxygen. Both elements have radioactive isotopes that have sufficient half-lives that they are found in small quantities in all water. These isotopes include deuterium and tritium for hydrogen and oxygen 18 for oxygen.

You can check this out here:

So, in pure water, there are beta emitters that can give off some gamma as well.

Water that's less than pure water, like you'd find in any industrial usage, will contain other elements as well. The water and any elements other than water that are present can be naturally radioactive. Seawater is far more radioactive than tap water for example. Neither is highly radioactive and not some serious danger to you but there is radioactivity present in both.

Water chemistry is a big part of a nuclear powerplant operation because so much is used and it can impact virtually the entire plant if mismanaged.

Nope. Water is not radioactive. Water can absorb neutrons and stop a nuclear reaction.
Water is also used as a shield material for spent nuclear fuel (which is still emitting radiation).

Water is not chemistry.

Stop the country, I wanna get off.

This is the stupidest thing in this war so far.

It also pretty much guarantees no "off ramp" for hostilities anytime soon.

AI Overview

Yes, attacking nuclear power plants is generally prohibited under international law and can be considered a war crime
. Under Article 56 of Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions, nuclear electrical generating stations are protected from attack if such action could release radiation and cause severe losses to the civilian population, even if they are legitimate military targets.
It all depends on what part of the plant you bomb. If you bomb the transmission stations and not the containment dome you won't release radiation

You believed the Biden administration when they said he was "sharp as a tack". :rofl2:
I believe he was aging and showing signs of that. McCarthy stated he was a tough negotiator. I think Joe’s years of experience left us in better shape than DonOld. who is tearing it all down. I still prefer Joe to Donald.

It's a PWR with a Western-style secondary containment and was built by the Germans when the Shah was in power. That means all the operators need to do to keep the plant safe is drop the rods and keep cooling water circulating for about 14 days. After that, they can go to a minimal amount of circulation as the plant will have cooled off.

So long as the reactor building and reactor aren't hit, it's no big deal at that point.
You already know, Creepy can't understand normal thinking, lol. You're correct of course, but you'll hear lots of fun 'facts' telling you why you're wrong. Just more proof, that liberals know so much that isn't so.

so long as.....

this is a fucking stupid post.

LOL Don't you have a meal to cook or a floor to sweep somewhere? You'd be so much more useful doing those things than trying to understand things beyond your very limited mental capacity, lol. Libtards, this is not an attack on women, it's an attack on a really stupid one.
