That’s like ‘we’ don’t have a problem at the border lol.
Exactly!

Is it because it doesn't meet the profile of a 'yuppie' area where everyone is a cookie cutter of everyone else like Target tries so desperately hard to achieve when opening new storesCostco does NOT put stores in rural areas.
This is very important to remember, "we" do not have long gas lines. I bought gasoline a day or two ago, and there was no line. I drove in, paid for it with my Apple watch, fueled up, and drove away. There was no delay, and no shortage.
The lines are caused by panic buying among the less affluent rural areas. They have limited gas stations to start with, because of low population density. Worse yet, they are prone to panics.
This is not a problem for "us", it is a problem for some of you.

Stopped at my local WaWa. 16 pumps, five cars. Pretty much the same everywhere here in Jacksonville. But then Duval county went for Biden. Just sayin'
Thats rich coming from someone that supported the silly panic over covid
you didn't bother to mention where your "we" lives......

No line here in the Northwest, either.
Odd how that works. If you stay calm, and follow common sense, then you really do better in life. For instance, I have been tested every week by my job, and I am still one of the few people who has not gotten Covid-19. I just wear the mask like a sane person, go to work, because the economy needs me to, and go on with my life. It seems to work well.
I did the smart and right things myself. Through this entire thing, I went to work every day, not missing one. Dealt directly with the public every day, as well.
I wore my mask.
I kept my distance.
I washed and sanitized my hands and working surfaces.
I avoided other public places and gatherings.
Then, when my turn came in March, I got vaccinated.
None of that was any great sacrifice. My life was essentially unchanged. What little change there was, it was probably for the better.
Too bad the idiot partisan morons that still think it’s a hoax and no worse than the flu couldn’t do the same. Multiple tens of thousands would still be alive.
The alt right acts as if wearing a mask is the biggest sacrifice anyone has ever had to put up with. It is just sad.
The point is Democratic areas are fine, because we are not panicking.

I have been to Atlanta, and "an hour north of Atlanta" is some rural area. Your picture of "an hour north of Atlanta" looks kind of rural, but then again Atlanta is a tree city, with a lot of greenery. Maybe it is a more suburban area than I imagine.
Whatever it is, it is certainly not in the Northeast.
Our city still has a mask mandate in public places, however our company doesn’t enforce it. When we ask maskless customers to mask up (we offer them one), we get so many “Fuck you”s, it would amaze you. I had a guy throw merchandise at me a couple weeks ago.
Jesus Christ. Put on that paper mask for 1 fucking minute (or less), get your fucking order and leave. Nothing more than a bunch of fucking crybabies.
They should be ashamed of themselves, treating other people like that.
