You said this: "AI has the capacity to think BECAUSE of actual biological forms capable of independent thought"

It does not necessarily follow. First of all, AI isn't biological, unless, by some miracle, somebody created a first fully formed human being out of scratch that has the ability to think just like the rest of us.
