It's almost impossible to run afoul of the mods here. Don't accuse any posters of pedophilia, but if you want to accuse the President of the United States of that crime, no problem. They are never going to leave. They are never going to change their views. They are disgruntled people who have messed up their own lives and are seeking to take it out on the rest of the world. Trump has told them he is their voice. They are hateful and spiteful and he is playing up to their immature emotions. It is the immature being led by the immature. None of them want to admit that their problems are their own. And they don't want us telling them. The best thing we can do is ignore them.
We can have excellent political discussions among polite people of both the left and the right as long as we are considerate of one another.

I'm a moderate liberal Democrat who voted for Joe, voted for sane mature leadership. He was not my first choice, but I am pleased with his performance so far.
We need an opposition party to keep us in check. The Republican party is having an identity crisis. The old GOP is dying, and being replaced by radical extremists.
I never did see how they could hate government but then want to be the ones who run what they hate.
If the GOP melts down and Democrats don't have any guardrails, we would do things that would surely raise strong objections with the rest of the USA. Not good.
The country needs to drop the we/they animosity, begin ignoring the extremists, and have some mature discussions about policy.
