Disagreed on your chewing analogy much less that half are doing it. Progress is slow but it's advance or die. We're advancing.....just not as fast as some people would like.

The Republican Party is it's own worst enemy. It's a shrinking party and might shrink even more depending upon what they do over the next couple years. CPAC will be interesting. Will they laugh at Trump like the UN did? Or will they embrace him like the "Great White Hope" and continue marching to self-destruction?

IMO, the RNC leadership is biding its time until the inevitable arrests and trials. Why stand against Trump when he'll end up removing himself? I think the Republican party will see a watershed moment between now and the midterms. Probably later this year as multiple investigations are wrapped up and charges filed. Not fully functional as a party, but definitely on the path to rebuilding a sane, conservative party.

And, yes, Trump will be mostly if not fully out of the picture. His little dogs too. :)

I was referencing al-Qaeda happily living under the umbrella of both Clinton and the Taliban.

Why did Clinton only launch a few cruise missiles at them instead of a full on carpet bombing strike against all al-Qaeda training facilities?

Trade school should not be discounted. While I do enjoy the benefit of a college degree or two, I get more use out of classes I took from a trade school before that.

Texas, like Louisiana, was a failure of State leadership. In Texas we did it to ourselves. I'm not blaming the Feds, I'm not blaming anything green. There's a full investigation in progress and the "green new deal" bullshit was quickly put to bed. Even Abbott admits that wasn't the problem.

I support State's Rights. How could anyone who supports State's Rights logically blame the Feds first? I'm with you in blaming the Federal response post-Katrina. We only differ on the facts and events in the years leading up to the disaster. Same goes for Texas and the rise of al-Qaeda. It's not like we weren't warned.

Nice rant, but funny how you give Clinton a complete pass on the WTC bombing. Why not Bush? :)

Actually I give both a small pass due to time in office. A new administration is always in flux for a year. It's why the best time to attack the United States is always once a new administration takes place.

Agreed 100%. Everyone benefits from higher education, but that doesn't mean a four year degree. One or two years of professional training can lead to a lucrative and happy career.

I have a BA, an MS and completed 10 courses of welding night classes at a community college. The first two merely opened doors; I never actually worked in either field leaving welding as the only course of training I've taken and made money doing. :)
