Weinergate: Married congressman’s Twitter account shares lewd photo

he won't get elected dog catcher now
tool should have gotten a divorce before chasing skirt
and doing a farve is prob not the most successful way to go after it.

Of course there's little things like "facts" and "waiting until the woman can give her side of the story" to consider...but only if it's someone who Ice Dunce supports.

Since this happened to a Democrat...then she's perfectly fine with hours and hours of baseless speculation...do I expect her to stop? Of course not...after all, it is the first weiner ID or Disloyal has seen since either went through Menopause and their mommy boxes dried up from lack of use.

Below you will find Gennette Nicole Cordova's full statement, as published by the New York Daily News.

"Friday evening I logged onto Twitter to find that I had about a dozen new mentions in less than an hour, which is a rare occurrence. When I checked one of the posts that I had been tagged in I saw that it was a picture that had supposedly been tweeted to me by Congressman Anthony Weiner.

The account that these tweets were sent from was familiar to me; this person had harassed me many times after the Congressman followed me on Twitter a month or so ago. Since I had dealt with this person and his cohorts before I assumed that the tweet and the picture were their latest attempts at defaming the Congressman and harassing his supporters.

Annoyed, I responded with something along the lines of "are you f***ing kidding me?" and "I've never seen this. You people are sick." I blocked their accounts, made my page private, and let the matter drop, expecting them to eventually do the same.

Within about an hour, however, I realized that I had grossly underestimated the severity of the situation that I had somehow become a part of.

The last 36 hours have been the most confusing, anxiety-ridden hours of my life. I've watched in sheer disbelief as my name, age, location, links to any social networking site I've ever used, my old phone numbers and pictures have been passed along from stranger to stranger.

My friends have received phone calls from people claiming to be old friends of mine, attempting to obtain my contact information. My siblings have received tweets that are similar in nature. I began taking steps, though not quickly enough, to remove as much personal information from the Internet as possible.

Not because I "was exposed as Weiner's mistress" or because I "was responsible for the hack," as Gawker has suggested. I removed my information because I, believe it or not, do not enjoy being harassed or being the reason that my loved ones are targets of harassment.

I have seen myself labeled as the "Femme Fatale of Weinergate," "Anthony Weiner's 21-year-old coed mistress" and "the self-proclaimed girlfriend of Anthony Weiner."

All of this is so outlandish that I don't know whether to be pissed off or amused, quite frankly. This is the reality of sharing information online in the 21st century. Things that I never imagined people would care about are now being plastered all over blog sites, including pictures of me from when I was 17 and tweets that have been taken completely out of context. I tweeted once (it was reported that I said it twice) that "I wonder what my boyfriend @RepWeiner is up to."

I am a 21-year-old college student from Seattle. I have never met Congressman Weiner, though I am a fan. I go to school in Bellingham where I spend all of my time; I've never been to New York or to DC. The point I am trying to make is that, contrary to the impression that I apparently gave from my tweet, I am not his girlfriend. Nor am I the wife, girlfriend or mistress of Barack Obama, Ray Allen or Cristiano Ronaldo, despite the fact that I have made similar assertions about them via Twitter.

There have never been any inappropriate exchanges between Anthony Weiner and myself, including the tweet/picture in question, which had apparently been deleted before it reached me. I cannot answer the questions that I do not have the answers to. I am not sure whether or not this letter will alleviate any future harassment. I also do not have a clear understanding as to how or why exactly I am involved in this fiasco. I do know that my life has been seriously impacted by speculation and faulty allegations. My reputation has been called into question by those who lack the character to report the facts."

Stop, you're clouding the issue with facts.

Yeah, and what a dirty trick it was! Dirty Republicans broke into his home, pulled his pants down and photographed his crotch, then posted it to his Twitter account before vanishing into the night.... dirty nasty bastards!

How do you know it was his crotch? No other part of the person's body was shown, including the face.

It is literally impossible to speak about this topic without creating accidental puns. It has to be talk radio heaven.

This guy may keep his job as a Congressman, and probably will, but any chance of anybody ever taking him seriously when he goes on a tirade has vanished with the first, "I'm not sure if it's me or not in the photo" along with the clear path of the Tweet. Now is the time to talk about the "chronology of the posts"...

:D

LOL. I think the, "I'm not saying whether or not that is me in the image" excuse is enough to make us all pause... If it isn't his very own banana hammock, I'd be surprised at this point. And if it isn't, did he get it from his collection of boner picks stored on his hard drive?

So right-wing talk radio listeners won't take Anthony Weiner seriously? I'm sure he's all torn up about it.

But if you use a word like "certitude" you throw all kinds of doubt onto the matter.

Maybe taking crotch shots of yourself is some sort of liberal thing and they take so many they just can't be sure if it's their crotch or not? With any kind of certitude that is.

I am not defending this guy, but I did hear him on television denying he sent the photo last night.

On "The Early Show" Thursday, CBS News Legal Analyst Jack Ford said if he's not pursuing official assistance in this situation, it's about not getting wrapped up official statements.

"If I'm a lawyer, and I'm representing a politician, in general, it's not against the law to lie to the media. It's not against the law to lie to your constituents. It is against the law to lie to law enforcement authorities," he said. "Martha Stewart went to jail not for insider trading, but for lying. Barry Bonds gets charged, goes to trial, not for using steroids - for lying about it. So if I'm a lawyer looking at a case such as this, I'm going to be real careful before I let my clients talk to law enforcement authorities, because I don't want to find my client, you know, jammed up here criminally because, despite what happened here, they're not telling the truth."

Ford said the content of the tweet also has to be considered.

"There are laws against sending out pornography on your account," he explained. "People will look at this and say, 'This might be really distasteful, but it's not pornographic.' You know, the young lady, if she felt she was being harassed in some fashion. But she hasn't expressed that. And you might say one instance of something like this wouldn't rise to that level, either. I don't think you're really talking about possible criminal activity there."

However, this situation may escalate to an investigation by an ethics committee, Ford said.

"Congress has the ability to investigate its own. And they have the capacity to censure somebody, to suspend somebody, even to remove somebody if they find there's conduct unbecoming a representative, a member of Congress. Those are pretty elastic, but certainly they have the ability to take a look at it."

I don't think any Congressmen will take him seriously. He's a clown, a buffoon, somebody who tries to used the "They iz L33T Haxors!" excuse too quickly... And at some point you simply lose any gravitas you once had. I'd say it was the moment where he couldn't tell us whether or not that really was a picture of his boner or not....

That was his "Jump the Shark" moment.

someone hacked his twitter, lofl
that's almost as good as Gasquet saying he tested positive for coke by kissing a chick in a club.

Rep. Anthony Weiner struggled to explain how a picture of somebody's bulging underwear briefly appeared on his Twitter account, claiming in a back-to-back string of interviews that he was clearly hacked -- but hinting the photograph could have been an image of him.

"I have photographs. I don't know what photographs are out there in the world of me," he said in one cable news interview, asked whether he'd ever snapped a photo like that of himself.

In another interview, Weiner acknowledged "it could be" the case that one of his private photos spilled onto the Internet. Or, he said, one could have been manipulated or pulled in from "somewhere else."

I tell ya. If somebody somehow got access to my Twitter account and sent that. I absolutely could say with certainty that it wasn't me in the photo.

The FBI has received no official complaint from Rep. Anthony Weiner that his Twitter account was hacked, and the bureau is not investigating, FBI officials tell Newsmax.

If the New York Democrat did report it and it turned out he was lying about the alleged attack on his account, he could be subject to a felony charge, FBI sources point out.

“We have not received any complaint,” one official says. “Unless we get an official complaint and there is a reason to believe a crime has been committed, we won’t initiate an investigation. The onus is on him to report. The fact that he is a U.S. congressman means we would take it very seriously. We don’t want a person in that position to be a victim of a cyber attack.”

But, the official adds, “It goes without saying that an individual may have reason not to make a report to the FBI if he made up a story about being hacked. The first thing we would do is interview him on the record. If he makes a false statement, he would be subject to a felony charge for lying to an FBI agent. We do take that seriously.”

In fact, you don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to see that Weiner is covering up his tawdry activities on Twitter.
