Alexis M. Pelosi is the Senior Advisor for Climate in the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). She has a law degree from Berkeley Law and a masters in environmental science from Johns Hopkins University. Prior to joining HUD in 2022 as a Senior Advisor in the Office of Community Planning and Development, Alexis spent 20+ years working on complex real estate development projects throughout the Bay Area and Northern California.

The other one is more of a mystery. Alexis Pelosi is the congresswoman’s niece-in-law and senior climate adviser to Housing and Urban Development Secretary Marcia Fudge.
