ever year, for health care than suffer the scurge of someone using the word
"socialist" to describe their multi-thousand dollar medical discount.

If you have a heart attack, it will cost you $50K MORE
than if you were German and had the same heart attack.

If you don't pay that $50K back fast enough, they'll garnish your paycheck
take your house and your car and your savings. Sure, you're homeless now,
but at least you have the comfort of knowing you're not "socialist."

Ya know, Ken, I'm actually going to side with you on this one. This is because we were transitioning between insurances, and my wife had to get emergency surgery during that time. Since then, we've been saddled with a $350.00 lab fee, a $1,347.00 surgery bill, and a whopping $20,754.00 bill for 11 hours on a hospital bed. On top of everything else, we've since learned that my wife is pregnant, and have been tagged for about $600.00 for 2 Dr visits and ultrasounds.

The good news is, the third ultrasound is on the Doc. I think he felt bad for us.

Now we have to wait in line for shitty Medicaid to see if they can help buffer the costs, as my wife is uninsurable while she is pregnant.

and yet those same democrats and republicans will tell you 'that's just how it is' when the government stalls and takes 5 years of your time just to earn a guilty verdict in your favor if the government wrongs you, then stand idly be while the government appeals that verdict for another 5 years.
