yes, and again... it is NOT fear mongering when the left is saying 'I want to ban these guns and magazine sizes'. If the left is saying 'ban these guns', then saying 'the left wants to ban these guns' is a statement of fact, not fear mongering.

I mean, just look at STY's post a few posts back. You're kidding yourself if you think fearmongering doesn't go way beyond the actual proposals.

I am not... but if you are willing to propose the banning of one type of gun, it is not fear mongering to think that you may slide down the slippery slope.

When you attempt to ban something based on EMOTION and not reason... that is what causes people to stand up and fight your nonsense.

Slippery slope arguments are by their very nature fearmongering, ya idjit.

As for using emotion, have you even read this board over the past year? The gunners use as much emotion as the gun control advocates. You just have a blind eye to it (clearly), because of where your sympathies lie.
