What Are The Ways The Cop Could Have Prevented The Stabbing?

Everyone doesn't want the cop to allow the lady in pink to get stabbed. That is already given. The claim is just a racist and/or political bullshit.

Now that is cleared up.

What do you think the cop could have done here without killing her?

As to that last part, I figured by watching the other video showing a different angle that it was approximately 8-10 feet between the women and the cop.
Was that close enough to do a Judo tactic? A properly trained person would be close enough to do it.

Realistically? Little or nothing.

Police, like anyone in the military, in security, or whatever is taught and trained shoot center mass (eg., into the chest). That ensures the best chance your rounds hit the target and nothing else. You are trained to "stop the action" and typically fire in 3 round cycles in training. That means you pump three rounds into the target's chest as fast and accurately as you can. Then you stop and observe for a couple of seconds and do it again if that didn't stop the action.

Tasing in this case would have been of doubtful utility. First, there's no guarantee that the target will go down on a tase. The target might even stab the victim and then both end up tased, making things worse for the victim (knives are conductive after all).

If the knife attacker is under about 25 feet to you, you are in a danger zone where they could potentially close with you before you could get your pistol on target and shoot them. Even the Mythbusters proved that, but there are plenty of training videos showing this too.

The cop did what he should have done and shot a dangerous attacking person who was using potentially lethal force and stopped the action. Too bad for that stupid bitch.

Doesn't matter. Use of deadly force to prevent a homicide from occurring is valid. It doesn't matter who she's attacking. She has a deadly weapon and is intent on using it. The woman's arm was going up, it takes maybe 0.5 seconds to get from point A to B then use one of those Judo tactics.

Another rule here is you don't put yourself in a dangerous situation like that because you can lose control of the situation. That is, you run in to stop the knife attack and end up stabbed yourself and the attacker takes your firearm and uses it on you, the victim, or someone else. The officer would have been trained to control the situation. Rushing in to tackle that woman and ending up in a wrestling match with her having a knife means he lost control of the situation. What if someone else decides to jump in on her side? There's lots of other people there. His best course of action is stop her action by shooting her and maintaining control over the whole group of people there at a distance.

When the fat bitch says she's "Gonna kill you" to 'pinky' that and the obvious knife are more than enough for him to shoot her to stop the action. He did the right thing.
