What are Trump's redeeming qualities?

Yet we all knew trump is a criminal and people still voted for him.

I have no evidence that Trump is a criminal. Though I believe that some people voted against him because they believed it. The reality is, Hillary was singularly the worst candidate in history, and she lost to, quite possibly, the second worst.

You don’t feel Trump University was criminal behavior? The use of the funds from his charity?

trump university was a fraudulent enterprise. trump paid $25 million to settle lawsuits, despite saying he wouldn't settle out of principle.

The problem with that is "feel" and "criminal", do I believe he was sued? Yes. I know that I would have gone to prison for even the slightest release of SCI while I worked with it, I don't necessarily believe that getting sued rises to that level. Do I think Trump is flawed? Yes. Do I like that he's "the republican" that won? No. Is it better than Hillary? Yes. Every day that is a yes. Each day that Not Hillary is president is better for our country than if the opposite were true.

I also think it’s criminal what he did to small contractors on his casinos and other building projects. Never paying them for their services.

Actually Trump’s dealing with contractors is 100% legal, or in other words, not criminal.

Stealing from others is criminal, and immoral. The legal system in these cases are created for corrupt people like Trump who have the money to sue these small businesses and tie them up with legal fees.

Yeah the ethics of it is questionable. Wit such behavior, he risks ruining business relationships, and word of would bring his goodwill into question. But his explanations for it are fair.

The language was scathing, the tone sarcastic. “Trump proclaims himself the archetypal businessman, a deal-maker without peer,” the memo said. Another document noted: “Trump is no stranger to overdue debt.”

The angry memos were written by lawyers acting on behalf of Deutsche Bank, Germany’s biggest lender, which was suing the billionaire.

It was November 2008. Three-and-a-half years earlier the bank had loaned Trump the cash to build one of his grandest projects yet: a hotel and mega-tower in Chicago. Trump had given his personal guarantee he would repay the $640m. As per agreement, he was now due to hand over a large chunk, $40m.

There was only one problem: the future 45th president of the United States was refusing to pay up. Deutsche initiated legal action. Trump responded with a blistering, scarcely credible writ of his own, a 10-count complaint in New York’s supreme court.

In it, Trump adopted a highly unusual defence, known as “force majeure”. He claimed that the 2008 economic crisis was a “once-in-a-century credit tsunami”, an act of God that was equivalent to an earthquake. Since it couldn’t have been anticipated, and it wasn’t his fault, he wasn’t obliged to pay Deutsche anything. It wouldn’t get the $40m or the outstanding $330m, his writ said.

He went further. Trump claimed Deutsche Bank had actually helped cause the crunch. Therefore it owed him. Trump demanded $3bn from Deutsche in compensation.

He's given the shaft to so many people throughout his career. He's been a headache to any bank that loaned him money. He lied about dealing with Russian banks. He's a complete p.o.s., the total package.

Does Donald Trump have ANY redeeming qualities?

I’ve searched high and low for one. It’s difficult to locate, to say the least. But I’m still on the case in between hunting for the Loch Ness Monster and the Roswell alien.
