What Climate Crisis? And what is it?

Why cannot you measure a climate? And why cannot you measure a heat?

Climate has no value associated with it. 'Climate' is a subjective word.

You can measure heat. It is measured in watts. Heat has no temperature. It is not possible to trap heat. Heat is the flow of thermal energy, not energy in and of itself. The concept of heat is defined by the 2nd law of thermodynamics.

Define "climate".

His question was actually a fair question. He doesn't understand the concept of heat, where it comes from, or how it's measured.

Define "climate".

A subjective word describing prevailing conditions. It has no value associated with it. The root word comes from a combination of several origins combined, including Latin, Greek, Persian, and others. In Latin, 'clima' or is genitive form 'climatis', meaning 'to lean', and is used to describe prevalence.

There is desert climate, mountain climate, arctic climate, marine climate, rich climate, poor climate, etc.

Climate cannot change, since there is no value that changes. A desert climate will always be a desert climate, even if a desert moves or changes. Climate cannot be a crisis, since climate describes prevailing conditions, the antithesis of a crisis.

I am not going to spend my time teaching you English. You need to do your own footwork and research this stuff yourself.

Climate is the long-term pattern of weather in an area, typically averaged over a period of 30 years. More rigorously, it is the mean and variability of meteorological variables over a time spanning from months to millions of years. Some of the meteorological variables that are commonly measured are temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind, and precipitation. In a broader sense, climate is the state of the components of the climate system, which includes the ocean, land, and ice on Earth. The climate of a location is affected by its latitude/longitude, terrain, and altitude, as well as nearby water bodies and their currents.

Why 30 years? What is significant about 30 years? Why is any other length of time NOT significant?

So, you have just declared a void.
Some of the meteorological variables that are commonly measured are temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind, and precipitation.
A 'rich' climate does not have temperature humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind, or precipitation. Since you have no time span, you have no measurement.

Climate isn't a system. It is a subjective word. Climate is not a component of itself.

Nope. A desert climate will always be a desert climate, even if a desert is swallowed up by the ocean.

So define "climate". You have not done so as of yet.

I started this thread because Truth Detector has been whining to me about it.

So what is it? What climate crisis? What is the definition? Is it true or false? Misinformation? Why do some people believe in it?

the liberal idiots have created the "climate crisis" because their masters have convinced them that the use of fossil fuels is destroying the planet. Its not true of course and there is no proven link between pollution and climate. They rave about CO2 emissions, but CO2 is not a pollutant, it is a gas that in required for all forms of plant life on earth, and therefore all animal life as well. They are useful idiots for the criminal socialists who would destroy this country. Its amazing how dumb roughly half of america really is.
