i agree with you on the pastors and even the black publications. Endorsements like that dont mean anything you can purchase them for a dime a dozen. When I said "level" i didnt necessarily mean number. I meant like stature. Evers is the guy who said "hands that pick cotton can now pick the mayor" and his brother was assasinated by the KKK. Farakkhan has been fighting for black rights sometimes violently for longer than I can remember. You cant buy endorsements from this level of black leadership. These guys are like black saints that you are unimpeachable in their community. You cant be a racist and KKK supporter and get the endorsement of these people. They see things for the media hype it is.
I think it is also worth mentioning that the black leaders of the MLK generation who have not gone into politics long term are split between Trump and Sanders. None of them are touching Clinton or god forbid Cruz (lol) with a ten foot pole.
