I dont see how it matters, Israel is determined to slit its own throat, and further destroying Americas reputation at the same time because we have supported this brutality against the Palestinians, and the Zionists decades long refusal to negotiate peace.
 
What they should have done is fire the top level of the IDF and Mossad for dereliction of duty, and gone to the UN ....after that entered talks with the Arabs letting China and/or Russia lead the negotiations.

Thats also what diplomacy is for, which Israel has been sabotaging for decades.

Israel has The Mossad. The most feared and effective intelligence and assassination group in the world.

Rather than ham-handedly bombing Gaza into oblivion, they could have hung back. Let the Hamas leaders wait and sweat. Gather intelligence on them. Then, when it was all ready, chop them off at the knees.

I think maybe the Israeli protesters were right when they said that the Israeli govt is more interested in killing Muslims than it is in killing Hamas.
