What does “loyal opposition” mean?

Of course, you would not know better. I understand how much you really know. But the Senate was down a man because of Franken's disputed election that took 8 months to settle. They had Lieberman, who was a Repub in Dems clothing. He even ran for being a VP in the Republican party. One long term Repub ran as a Dem when he saw he was going to lose, He sided with the Repubs. The senate was essentially a dead heat on policy.

So what? It was two years. If you 'rats have some internal squabbles then it's your own dam fault.
 
Democrats used that term extensively back in The Obama's first two years, when they had all three branches of FedCo wrapped up and delightfully shoved all that shit down our throats. So what the term means is exactly that fantasy of theirs, they have all the power, all we can do is oppose without consequence to their agenda.

Kinda like how trumpf is force feeding your party now??
