What does this painting mean to you?

... or Catholic.

Omniscience fallacy. You claim to avoid more than anyone on this board.

That sounds like an admission of deliberate blindness and of willful ignorance.

Find a topic about which you are somewhat familiar.
That's funny that you have no personal experience of attending church services, but you expect random Google searches of pictures to tell you how common this practice is.

And I'm saying you aren't following God's word you are following MAN'S word.

You can choose to honor the Resurrection if you want but that is not what God wants. Think about this. During Christ's death the ONLY full day he rested was on the Sabbath.

It is a simple choice follow man or follow God.

You say almost all Catholics and Protestants observe the 1st day of the week(Sunday) and you are correct. Being in the majority does not make you right.

Mat 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Everything about God's creation took place in the Old Testament. You are following OT teachings and ignoring the NT, Christ's teachings. I have no problem with different religions and what day they call the Sabbath. It's Y O U I have a problem with, because you're more focused on the letter of the law than the meaning of it. And I think you're pretty arrogant to say that Catholic and Protestant belief is wrong. You have opinion, not authority, and the same goes for your denomination.

2Ti 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Paul observed the Sabbath

Act 13:43
Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

Act 13:44

And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
Tools
Act 13:45
But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

And also Acts 18:4-11

I expected to not find limitless images of political flags in the very churches that you claim simply do not present political flags.

It's funny. It's like you have no personal experience of attending church services, yet you claim to be JPP's most experienced. Way too funny.

... says who?
^^ A militant atheist who suddenly wants posters to believe he has had a habit of regular church attendance 🤣

Your frantic little three minute Google search for images of dubious origin gives you zero credibility to say what is actually happening in the sanctuary spaces of Protestant and Catholic American churches.

You certainly know how to tip your king before the game even begins.

who suddenly wants posters to believe
Who have I implored to believe what?

he has had a habit of regular church attendance
What has been my churchgoing experience?

Your frantic little three minute Google search
I don't perform Google searches.

... that anyone can verify.

gives you zero credibility
It was your claim. You are the one who still has zero credibility after years of opportunities to develop at least some.

to say what is actually happening in the sanctuary spaces of Protestant and Catholic American churches.
Yep, especially between the two of us.

Protestants Sola scriptura is a Latin phrase meaning "Scripture alone," a core principle of the Protestant Reformation that asserts the Bible is the supreme and sole infallible authority for Christian doctrine and practice. I'm just pointing out (correctly) the Bible does not support Sunday observance as the Sabbath.

Catholic Revernd Steven Keenan was correct when he said :
she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday, the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday, the seventh day; a change for which there is no Scriptural authority.

Reverend Steven Keenan’s Doctrinal Catechism we read this: “Question: Have you any other way of proving that the Church has power to institute festivals of precept? Answer: Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her; she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday, the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday, the seventh day; a change for which there is no Scriptural authority.”

AI Overview

Feeling nostalgic means experiencing a sentimental longing for the past, often with a bittersweet mix of happiness for cherished memories and sadness that they are gone. It involves thinking affectionately about a past time, person, or place and wishing it could be experienced again, sometimes triggered by familiar sights, sounds, or smells.

So,....you think back fondly on the America that once was. Good to know.....
That was never how America was fool

Do you understand what "Scripture ALONE" means? Did Luther? If all you need is Scripture ALONE, you don't need "sola fide (faith alone), sola gratia (grace alone), solus Christus (Christ alone), and soli Deo gloria (to the glory of God alone).

Luther is actually saying you need FIVE principles, not just one ALONE.

Everyone of those things are taught in the Sola Scripta the observance of Sunday as the Sabbath isn't.

AND to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Notice AND there... It says to go to all the Earth AND... It is including more. Or do you think God Himself has no idea that there rest of the Universe is out there? You know, according to your religion, He created it right?

This is not limited to this planet. Unless you think that God somehow only created this one and not the trillions of other planets out there.
I think we are the only planet in rebellion and the other planets are able to see our planet and the depravity that rebellion has brought us. So if we are the only planets in rebellion the others would not need salvation would they.
