Are you one who thinks you should be your childs best friend??

No I am one who thinks you should be your childs parent. That means it should be one of the closest relationships they will EVER have.

Maybe your best friends lie to you and tell you what you want to hear.

Maybe you need to find a real friend.

That must be society's fault because we all had more time with her than her parents...

I do blame the society too , I merely siad I blame the parents the most.

I also feel for them because this is NOT the outcome that they wanted.

They made the mistake that many parents do when a child cries out for help in an akward way.

The parent is not there to show the world how they control their child.

Restriction is often a replacement for time spent with the child hashing out what is wrong.

You go stay in your room and think about it. How does that teach.

I have found as a parent that NOTHING replaces talking and working it out.

It just takes finness, patience and lots of time. Many parents would rather use the easy way.
