Read the report on at the start of this thread, or just open a newspaper. We are ALREADY seeing many of the predictions that were made just a decade ago come true. Droughts, melting ice, habitat loss, disruption of oceanic food chain, et al.

It's not a question of "if" anymore. It's more like "how fast"...

I have yet to see anything that hasn't happened throughout history. Or do you think droughts are new?

Of course, with a full 100 years of data (so much compared to geological time!), how could anyone doubt this terrible crisis?

War on pot actually started when a WHITE kid killed his whole family. Marijuana was almost certainly not the cause, but it was blamed on the drug.

3-Mile Island showed us that safeguards we use worked, and we even strengthened those. It taught us to fear a form of energy that could help us to get off dependancy on foreign oil.
