Look at some articles from the time, Congress demanded he not take action without a vote. They were against him taking action, he was going to lose the vote. They were speaking out against him. We don't attack a foreign nation without unified agreement. It simply does not happen. Libya was about as controversial as it gets, and that was iffy. Yes, Obama could have done it without Congressional approval, but he was already being undercut by his own Congress, the effort would have failed so he pulled back.

Kinda yeah, if you look at the whole picture: the part of the world where it happened; the origins of flight and etc. Maybe to a lessor degree the way it went down. The PC crowd has their panties in a collective wad [ugh, pardon that image lol] over Trump's gambit in calling it terrorism before the evidence is in.

But again, they miss the larger point. I think this was a political calculation on Trumps part: How many times in the past has the government and the media gone out of their way to NOT deem something terrorism when everyone with two functioning synapses knows it was. Probably the most egregious example was Fort Hood.

Trump is strumming the right string. I'm surprised he didn't call it Islamic terrorism. Or maybe he's allowing for the possibility of some irate Methodists lol.

You need to keep an eye on those Methodists.

I love how expecting someone who wants to lead the country to not jump to emotional conclusions instantly and announce them is now under the realm of "pc."

I think the message Trump was sending was more along the lines of 'I'm not afraid to call a spade a spade'. Not sure what the point would be in taking such a gamble as president...during a campaign is a different matter.

that isn't true......they reported that a fire underneath the front lavatory and the irregular turning would be consistent with a fire under the cockpit which damaged the rudder control.....consistent with is not "likely".......
