Well, you're going to lose some dollars & peso's, then. From November, 2008 to the time Obama was inaugurated, Rush Limbaugh repeatedly called the downturn the "Obama Recession," to many ditto's on his show, claiming that the mere fact of Obama's election & the impending policies were enough to tank the market, and ignoring that the actual tanking started before the election.

And willing parrot's like our own Dixie spread that around this board at that time, as well.

Lummox, why don't you go pull the NASDAQ and NYSE numbers for the period between Oct. '08 and Jan '09, and tell us what they say? Could it be because they support the argument that Obama's impending win DID INDEED effect the markets?
