Diversity, equity and inclusion programs have come under attack in American boardrooms, state legislatures and college campuses – and now broadly across the federal government.

President Donald Trump hours after swearing in this week began making good on promises to wage a war against such policies, inking an executive order banning efforts such as “environmental justice programs,” “equity initiatives” and DEI considerations in federal hiring.

The fledgling Republican White House also ordered employees of federal diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility offices to be put on paid administrative leave. And DEI is in the crosshairs of Trump’s new Department of Government Efficiency, led by billionaire Elon Musk, who last year called DEI “just another word for racism.”


Systemic racism is alive and well.
 
DEI is an attempt to create classes of people who cannot be criticized so the powers that be can use them to do awful things to us, and yet still escape criticism.

DEI aka quota hiring, served a purpose in its time. Now it is simply a way to divert government dollars into pet socialist programs. As the article in the link below highlights, there has been no true way to measure so-called fairness. In addition, different municipalities have abused the legislation, and/or diverted money away from other programs that serve communities better. In California, diverting money into DEI programs created the need to cut funding of other programs which led to releasing criminals onto the streets and overwhelming an already large homeless population.

Tell us why someone should get a job just because of their skin color or their genitalia or try depth of their mental illness. Case in point the LA fire chief. A paramedic in charge of fire fighters. Why? She's a lezbo. She's not trained as a fire fighter is the fire chief because of who she sleeps with and because she isn't a straight white male.
