What is the 'appropriate' response if you believe that your increasingly hostile and aggressive political opponents (under the banner of already debunked alien political theories) are using every trick in the book, short of outright violence, to steal your government, your rights, your freedoms, your country and your quality of life through chicanery?

Since, by definition, they would be radical if they succeeded in that, stand back and allow them to hang themselves, politically.

Then take both branches of the legislative branch from them in the next election and neuter the President. Then relegate them to the dustbin of history in the following presidential election.

That is a disproven tactic as it was first suggested during W's 1st term and look at where we are now.
