What is the opposition to the critical race theory

You've read what I have to say about WoKEMOLY racism.

I don't think we just wake up and realize we are racists.

It is something that just happens in this Animal world we live in.

Some animals will tolerate other animals, and some run for the hills because of others, and some will kill and eat others for survival.

But, we are all animals here on this planet Earth!

Humans should be smart enough to know that being racist to our fellow man is just wrong and only hurts us.

Doesn't mean we are asleep- it just means we are still too stupid to know what is good for us!

You people are so bloody exasperating, he's describing you exactly.

so we should remove all race information from applications. correct?

this would make much racism impossible.

why are you against it?

There are two 'oppositions'...I assume.

One is the obvious one.

The other are the one's who barely give a shit about the entire thing (including me).

CRT, in my mind, has always been a term meaning "cathode ray tube."

I've never heard a cogent explanation on what Critical Race Theory is supposed to be, but my suspicion is that both sides of the debate are totally full of shit.
I could be wrong, but until I can understand it better, I'm comfortable with my assumption.

Getting back to the thread title, the problem with Critical Race Theory is political obfuscation. Defining the term to fit a politically acceptable and desired meaning. Any attempt to restore the original academic meaning is hotly rejected as "woke", another combination of letters that is more a symbol than a word.
