I've already mentioned what was disappointing...including the deletions, the additions, the lyric changes, songs missing, plot changes, too long and scary for littles,, different ending... there was some good parts... it just wasn't The Little Mermaid.. but you haven't seen it so I'm not sure what good it does to tell you that...;)

No, it's just summer, and even if I could still do all the things that I liked to do,

and I still could do some of them,

they're just not there for anybody to do anymore.

Maybe so. Maybe at some point, earlier or later depending on the person, you simply run out of things that give you joy in life. If that's inevitable I'll be fine with journeying on before that point. I'm not convinced though that it is inevitable. Guess we'll find out.
 
Ariel was not the only character who changed... but color had nothing to do with it...;)

She did not see the movie. Note the vague 'disappointments'. She read those on-line. Not the first time she's lied, and I'm sure not the last.

You are talking about violence in response to a fictional mermaid being Black. It just seems crazy to me. It literally does not hurt you at all for her to be Black.
