What definition of woke are you using this week? I jest…I don’t care. Here is a YouTube link to a review by a young woman who actually includes a “wokeness” element to her review. I didn’t even see the movie, nor the original. I am an adult. I am an elderly adult. I was solidly middle aged when the original came out, and this is not my kind of movie anyway.

I think real rainbows have survived. That kind of appropriating goes on all the time. What's different about "woke" is that the word went out of use until it was reintroduced with its current usage which is not only dominant at this point but exclusive. So it's not like rainbow; better argument that it is like gay. Anyway, thanks for turning the argument back to the original point of the thread.
