And i understand that. White males have been woke pandered to for over a hundred years almost exclusively.

They would even put white men in to play the roles of historical actual PoC, when doing bio pics.

There was none of this crying then by the white males being pandered to. And yet if a fictional character, in one out of 10 movies is changed to a woman or a PoC they lose their shit and devolve into a puddle of tears, screaming 'how dare they'.


Sure, put in white male actors to play actual historical PoC roles and that is all fine and good as 'we are used to that', but change some pixels in a cartoon character or a fictional movie, and they cannot handle it.

They are snowflakes. TOdays white conservative male is the most fragile in history, requiring a safe space away from movies or books they do not want to see and they want the gov't to protect them from it.

What is woke about it?

It's bowing to blacks' demands by spineless industries and commercial interests just so they can say they aren't racist.

Blacks complain, certain whites jump and do whatever they're told to.

That's woke.

I won't even get into the cultural appropriation. Something black people say they are against. Until they're the ones doing it.

My question is, instead of redoing a movie that was just fine the way it was and putting in an actor who is obviously not physically correct for the role, why don't they create a new black character and let her be the star of that?

Could it be because Disney actually WANTS the controversy and the publicity surrounding it?

Or would black people not be happy unless they can feel like they're in essence "taking something away" from white people?

Maybe that's what they really want.

It will be black Snow White next.

Before long they'll have to do a remake of Cinderella with a fat girl. Or a tranny.

A lot of people are just getting tired of all the pandering and kowtowing to constantly complaining "victim" groups.

The film industry doesn’t do many new ideas much anymore


It’s all remakes

Hell they are doing a beetle juice 2 now


I think it has to do with writers pushing for more control


They need ideas and are too uncreative in their own to create something new


So it’s remakes and 2s, 3s and 4s


They want to cast more inclusively because that is what the people want

I know a couple of 30 something’s that are in no way racists

But they are miffed about this one


I think it has to do with how much the movie meant to them as children

We have over 100 years of Hollywood pandering to woke white males.

Not just for fictional characters but real life history where they would cast a white male to play a historical PoC.

It has ALWAYS been this way, and now it goes even slightly the other way you cry foul.
