what is wrong with the reopening?

Lets talk about reopening the economy for a bit.

Take Texas for example. They say that retailers can open but only for pick up products. Similar to how food operates right now. They of course have been labeled as murderers who care about the economy more than human life. Now since your already taking that risk for food and it seems its not significantly increasing the infection what is wrong with their order?

Our governor is saying we are watching this closely, and he has already said, if the virus should start to spike as a result, he will re-access!

Texas has had a lot of new cases and it is still on the rise- But our death rate is much lower than states who have been hit even much harder than us.

Our problem is the fact that most of these 200 some odd deaths have mostly happened in Rest Homes.

Texas has been lucky! And we know it! But, I'd still rather be lucky- than UN-LUCKY!

Agreed, but that choice is up to each Governor.

The lesson most people are missing is how many Americans live paycheck to paycheck. There were a lot of really nice cars lined up for miles for food banks because people couldn't afford to buy food. Some of that is the pitfall of a consumerist society and "keeping up with the Joneses" but another part is that the wealth if this country isn't in the hands of a majority of its citizens.

Why should a governor decide? We have scientists who can actually determine what is safe. They did not issue new safety standards. As most corporation bosses do, they see workers as expendable.

Hence the difference between the idea of individual freedom vs. the elitist idea that a few should dominate everyone else for their own good.
