What Is Wrong With You People?

Sorry to hear that....Hope you're both OK now...."Interesting" story, though....hmmmm
I assume your insurance paid the bill, btw.

No doubt you also believe that my 13-month-old g-son catching Covid from his daycare provider is a "story" too, amirite? It's just like your story about having Covid twice -- but only the 24-hour kind.

Everyone knows you're an anti-vax, unclean spreader, part of the reason the pandemic won't go away, rather than a considerate citizen who cares about her community.

That's the part of the bill not covered by insurance. Not sure why you find it 'interesting'. I attended a family gathering on my wifes side. Her sister asked everyone if they were unvaxxed, because she didn't want to invite them if they were. Her Uncle lied about his vaccination status. Three days after the party he was in the hospital. A week later we were both sick as were multiple other people who attended. My wife was dehydrated and needed an IV. The Urgent Cares were all completely full with unvaxxed morons.

What's quote interesting unquote about that? You antivax morons have cost us all. You obviously don't care about anyone else. It is what it is.

Yes, we are. I get that your stupidity also prevents you from realizing that. I got Covid from an unvaxxed moron. So did my wife. You gonna pay my $1,000 ER bill? Didn't think so. God, you are a moron.

Actually in this case Toxic TOP is correct. *She* isn't suffering from her stupidity; she enjoys every moment of it. :rofl2:

My 13-month-yo g-son got it from his babysitter. He then shared it with his mom, dad, and my other daughter -- all of them vaxxed. They recovered without incident, other than loss of smell & taste. Unfortunately only one of them had enough sick time to cover the full two weeks that they weren't allowed to return to work, per their employers.

Unvaxxed selfish covidiots like Toxic don't give a shit about that though. Nope, they're Reichwingers because being selfish and inconsiderate is a way of life with them.

May I translate? "Interesting" to Toxic Top = "I'm too chickenshit to say you're lying."

I'm glad you're all fine now....what's interesting is the timing and you knew the "perp" (was he anti-vax""...If so, how odd no one knew....)...and everyone who was vaccinated got sick....
(I'm sorry anyone got sick.....I always am....
But your blanket rage is unfair...)

I made a simple statement. YOU are hurting EVERYONE with your ignorant beliefs. That isn't rage. It's fact. I'm guessing that was the perp. It's math and common sense. Yes, his wife got sick (also lied about her vaccination status) as did three other vaccinated people that I know of. For a gathering of about 30 people, that shouldn't be a surprise. I guess I should assume that since he was wearing a Trump 2024 hat he was a scumbag and a liar. My bad. This occurred before the Delta variant was known to cause a lot of breakthrough cases.

Now how the heck do you know who you caught the COVID from?

Gee, I don't know. I was at a party with an unvaxxed person who was hospitalized three days later. So was my wife. Yeah, this really requires Sherlock Holmes to figure out. LOL at you.

I don't understand.

If you're wearing a mask everywhere you go and are vaccinated, how did you get Covid??

Maybe trying reading with comprehension. That might help. You are five times less likely to get the Delta variant if you are vaccinated. Masks don't prevent the wearer from getting infected. Of course you can get Covid if you are vaccinated. You weren't aware of that? Have you been hiding in a cave for six months?

Now you're like me. Super immune. Bring on the kryptonite!

Why you bitching so much when you claim to have buckets of money, motherfucker? Why don't you have better insurance? Is it Obamacare?

Are you not smart enough to get good insurance with all that money you claim to have or is it something else?

Hehehehe... wow, you're an easy one to trigger. I'll keep that in mind when this place gets boring.

Anyway, of course I knew all of that.

We were told, early on, that we could beat the pandemic with masks. That eventually proved foolhardy. Then they said the vaccine was the way to go to rid ourselves of the pandemic. Yet, as you've said, a person can still get the virus if he's vaccinated and wears a mask. Sure, the incidence of infection may be lower, but the virus isn't beaten.

The simple truth is that Covid 19 is something that we're going to have to learn to accept as part of life for the foreseeable future. Wearing masks (which I still do when it's requested) and vaccines are fine, but the foolish mistake I see over and over again is how the left blames Trump's response as to why it's so bad here and the right blames Biden for why it remains. The truth is that this is a global pandemic and, as long as were allowing people to come into this country from abroad, we're opening the door to risk. If every single American were to be completely free of the virus, it would take only one infected person, traveling from abroad, to stand everything on its ear. After all, that's how it happened the first time. No one here had it until someone showed up with it.

I've had Covid 19 twice. I am not vaccinated. I wear a mask if a business I'm visiting requires it. I don't require either masks or vaccines at my businesses, and only a handful of people came down with Covid since the onset of the pandemic. The number was so few that that the odds those people caught it here at work is so infinitesimal as to be almost non-existent...

Wow, you got it twice? I got it once. Almost called a lawyer to make out an emergency will. But I got over it in about a day and a half. Not scared now.

Yeah, the first time I thought I was gonna' die. I don't think I've ever been that sick.

The second time I tested positive I had a sniffle...

Okay, good luck with that. Triggered? Give it your best shot. You actually strung together several coherent paragraphs which makes you the proverbial one-eyed man in the 'not vaccinated' world. That said, you will be very disappointed. When you lead with a ridiculously stupid question, don't expect me to pat you on the head and send you on your way. It is what it is.

Yes' it's a global pandemic, but outbreaks are highly localized. The more vaccinated people in an area, the fewer targets the virus has. I reject the idea that doing nothing is the same as doing something. It isn't. We are here because people like you made a selfish choice not to be vaccinated. Period. Full stop.
