What part of Christianity isn't compatible with the US Constitution...

The key suffix here is "ity". You keep giving examples of individual Christians, not the religion of Christianity.

This is why you have failed so miserably here lol. Your lack of education in basic linguistics, perhaps?

Your willful ignorance and pathetic denial is noted.

Dark Stool = “Groups of Christians really aren’t a “part of” Christianity . They are a “part of” something else.”

Same for Christian bakers that you morons defend. You fucked yourself with your own words, idiot. :rofl2:

The divine right of kings and the idea that people shouldn't revolt against their monarchs is antithetical to everything the constitution is all about and everything our country is about.

Until now I didn't realize that the US was a monarchy. /sarcasm

Minority groups are part of Christianity, but they don't define it.

Do you understand that our country was founded by revolting against a monarch and our founders believed that people have natural freedoms and that monarchs have no right to rule them? The constitution is about the idea that people have natural rights and have a right to choose their representatives, and those in government should have major limits to their power. The bible believes that monarchs have the right to rule their subjects from God and their subjects should always obey their monarchs.

Except we're not a monarchy, therefore that does not apply...

Exactly, we aren't a monarchy, that is my whole point. We used to be part of one. Why? Because we revolved because we believed that monarchs have no right to rule us, because taxation without representation is wrong. The bible believes that monarchs do have a right from God to rule us and tax us without representation. The bible talks about how people should obey their God-appointed monarchs, the constitution bans any monarchy. That just isn't compatible.

Religion is very reasonable. Many scientists are religious. So that premise is flawed.

Reasonable people can do unreasonable things. Even reasonable people have superstitious beliefs because of conditioning or self-deceit.

Women are held in high regard in the Catholic Faith. What particular passage in the Catholic doctrine leads you to believe that "women shouldn't have the right to vote"?

I'm not saying I believe that. I'm saying the Cucksader Catholics (like Nick Fuentes and the /rel/ crowd) believe this.
I do think saying women are held in high regard in Catholicism is pretty silly, considering they can't even become pope, but there you go, everyone interprets religion differently.

Minority groups are part of Christianity, but they don't define it.

I didn’t say they did, did I, dumbshit? I merely pointed out the obvious. That they are a “part of” Christianity and are in conflict with the Constitution.

Put down the bottle, moron. You can’t comprehend simple English.

I only assume Trump is lying when there is evidence that contradicts what he says. What is the evidence that the Army of God was lying?

the murders and violence they have committed?.......if they say they are Christians that is evidence that contradicts what they say.........or didn't you stop and think of that before you posted.........

No, because the Bible doesn't require a monarchy.

Merely your opinion.

Just because the Church recognizes the differences between the sexes and assigns different roles for them doesn't mean that it's assigning a lower status for women. The Pope isn't held at the same level as Mary, at all.

Actually, you're inferring that because you're insisting that this particular minority defines Christianity. I'm merely trying to follow your logic, which isn't easy because it's not logical lol.

...or anything that relates to freedom?

And, how many libs here think this?

I don't think mainstream Christianity as a whole is incompatible with the Constitution, and I am a liberal.

I DO however, recognize that the Christian Dominionist/Reconstructionist sects are 100 percent hostile toward republican constitutional representative democracy.
But that's because their religious dogma supports the concept of a global theocracy, not because of anything in the Constitution.
If there's any hostility, it's not from the founders, it's from the fundamentalist extremists.

But don't take my word for it. It's not a secret.

Then we have no disagreement.

What part of Christianity requires or favors an established state religion?

In mainstream Christianity, no part whatsoever.
But just like Islam, there is an extremist faction of fundamentalists who predict a theocracy in America's future, and they're working feverishly to scale the so called "Seven Mountains" in order to make it a reality.

The difference is, the theocrats already CONTROL two Middle Eastern countries, whereas the extremist fundie Christians do not control this country. But that doesn't mean they're not trying to.

Question: Is this thread ultimately about Islam or Christianity, or liberals?

Post 1 describes the point of this thread- take it at face value.
Post 2 describes a secondary reason- stuffing a lie down someone's face.
