They should pay $3,745.20. Everyone should pay 10%. If you make one dollar, you pay ten cents. If you make 100,000, you pay 10,000. We could also discuss the merits of having a second bracket for millionaires (I think an additional 10% on income exceeding $1 Mil would suffice) but the point is, everyone should have skin in the game.
