Killing Gadhaffi destabilized Libya into about 4 warlord Islamic gangs jockeying for power.
Tens of thousands killed. This is the west and Venezuela. It's not the same.
I've studied up pretty good on that, because it seemed odd he was hanging out with Obama
just a couple months before Hillary lobbed missiles at him.
It was about gold and the gold standard and getting away from the petrodollar.
Ghadaffi was about to put all of The African Union on The Gold Standard. (quite a few countries)

There was another side. Gadhafi was also staunchly opposed to Al Qaeda - which Obama (and Clinton) heavily supported. He had aided Dubya in hunting them down.

The so-called "Arab Spring" was basically Obama's push to make Al Qaeda into a major power in the region again,

democrats STRONGLY support Maduro and his tyrannical dictatorship for several reasons. Maduro in in bed with Russia, which makes him attractive to the dims. He is a drug kingpin - making him beloved of the dims. He is a brutal dictator who kills the opposition - exactly what dims want for America.

And Trump has become a superstar among the people of South America. Creating fear and loathing among both democrats and tin horn dictators of banana republics alike. The dictator of Columbia is openly taunting Trump the way Maduro did. Columbia is the root source of the Cocaine Venezuela was shipping to Mexico to be distributed in America. Not a real smart taunt by the narco-terrorist.

It was all about bullying and control of the governments of the Americas, which are now expected to follow the instructions from Washington and deal with resistance from the people objecting to their countries becoming overtly colonies of America.

If you look at the equipment the Venezuelan military had, virtually all of it is obsolescent or obsolete. Their air defense systems were between old and antiquated. Their homegrown variant of the S-125 (aka SA-3 Goa), the Percoa, is a genuine antique from the 1960's. Add an assortment of light AA weapons commonly used by rebels, insurgents, terrorists, and other non-state actors, often mounted in the durable and iconic Toyota Hilux pick up, and you get an idea what they had for air defense.
