It is like micro or macro thinking. Each owner and employee take a shut down as a personal affront. It hurts them specifically. But that is not what the governors are doing. They are trying to limiting Corona transmission. They are trying to save lives and keep people from getting sick. Their data is about the big picture, not your cafe. There are thousands of businesses that are being hurt. Many of the owners were irresponsible. They hurt all the rest. The governor knows what the impact is. He also knows what political dynamite his actions are. The Guv is not trying to be mean.

Governors who shut down businesses are acting in good faith to keep the citizens alive. They are hurting themselves politically as the posts show. You should admire them for standing up to the powerful business community to do the right thing. Constantly repeating that they are hurting businesses and workers is not informing them of anything they do not know. That is a big part of the calculus they went through. They concluded citizens' lives and dampening Corona was the right policy. They are not evil.

Sorry dude. The business community is the one in charge here. Governors are not kings. Neither are they authorized to ignore the 14th amendment. There's this thing called the constitution in each State, and a Constitution of the United States.

Democrats are to stupid to understand that covid 19 is not being spread in in restaurants in a major way that is a very small percentage , but their lock down rules are destroying small business . its not like these small business owners have the money to start all over again and find new employees . They aren’t following the science so that’s out. Logic would dictate vaccinating the elderly and at risk populations *first* so we wouldn’t have to worry about hospital beds.
With that worry out of the way, we can open the economy up—as in all the way up. Trump’s economy would rebound quickly if that would happen.
But there seems to be no sense of urgency about reviving the economy. Trump is a lame duck so he no longer counts. Fauci changed his mind on the herd immunity number and jacked it up to 90%.
That’s going to insure 2020 will drag long into 2021 because there is bound to be resistance by a segment of the population to taking the China Murder Virus novel vaccine. Hell, we may never get 70% [or whatever] of the population vaccinated.
Who knows how much more of this hellish dystopia will be thrust upon us by bureaucrats and mindless politicians.

Type out the relevant constitutional passage. You are making shot up again. The government does have that power.
