What would America be like today if Republicans hadn't freed slaves from Democrats?

Probably the southern states would have come back under British rule, and slavery would have been peaceably abolished. Otherwise, as pointed out previously, there would be civilized 'black' states down there now, and Trumpf would be building his wall to stop them taking over the North.

8 of the top 10 States with the highest percentage black population are in the South. A large portion of them act in an uncivilized manner now. What makes you think things would have been different under your scenario?

I have two friends and former clients that are exceedingly wealthy, and both got that way by employing over a hundred people (each). One was a contractor (now retired) who built a company from scratch repairing/ improving peoples homes with a 5-star rating. The other manufactures rubber products using a low-cost method that he invented, and sells them mainly to small companies.

That's over 200 families that have bread-winners gainfully employed, and thousands of satisfied customers.

My question to you: How does this make or keep anyone poor?

Well, he did send them Trump, at least according to them. Personally I do not think God deals in trash like that save to teach His people a lesson. However, as we have seen these "conservatives" are incapable of learning.

If those you think should get more were as good as you imply they are, why didn't they start their own company instead of working FOR someone else?

This conservative is smart enough to know Obama wasn't qualified because of his color. You have yet to figure it out.
