Trump cancels NRA speech and interviews after reportedly being 'exhausted'
Trump is suppose to be the strongman his old ass can't take it, physically or mentally?!!

Vice President Kamala Harris — who was criticized earlier in the campaign for her lack of media appearances — has embarked on a full-scale blitz ahead of next month's election.

With less than three weeks to go before the 2024 presidential election, both Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump have been doing a barrage of media interviews and political events in addition to their campaign rallies.

But several interviews that Trump had scheduled this week were scrapped, including an interview with NBC and an appearance on CNBC’s Squawk Box. And a sit-down with the Shade Room, a cultural website with a predominantly young Black audience that recently interviewed Harris, was reportedly nixed because, according to a Trump adviser, the Republican nominee was “exhausted.”

Which other appearances were canceled?

The rash of cancellations comes on the heels of Trump backing out of a scheduled appearance on CBS’s 60 Minutes over a dispute about the newsmagazine’s plan to do live fact-checking of the former president. He also refused to agree to a proposed second debate with Harris on CNN.

Meanwhile, the National Rifle Association announced Thursday that it has canceled an event in Savannah, Ga., that was set to feature Trump as its keynote speaker due to a campaign scheduling conflict.

Trump has participated in numerous live and taped events in recent days, including a campaign event that turned into a bizarre dance party in Pennsylvania, a Fox News town hall with an all-female audience in Georgia, a contentious live interview with Bloomberg News editor in chief John Micklethwait at the Economic Club of Chicago and the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner in New York City, in addition to various podcasts.

He was live on FoxNews in NYC this morning... I'm thinking your "alarm" is a bit manufactured. Most likely a desperate attempt to draw attention away from your candidate. A desperate attempt to get something to trend that might help your Lady out.

Trump's appearances have been jaw-dropping to rational people.

The thing w/ Trump is - everyone is so used to it, that no one really even comments on how he is anymore.

Harris has been running her campaign well. I don't see why any of her supporters would want or need attention drawn from here. Her schedule is packed with interviews, appearances and rallies. The other campaign looks "low energy" by comparison.

Stephen King has once again taken to X to denounce Donald Trump, offering voters yet another reason why they shouldn’t support the former president.

King, 77, is well-known for being a vocal critic of Trump, previously comparing him to a drunk “senile uncle.”

In his most recent social media rant, the prolific horror author called out Trump for refusing to release his medical records.

“Trump is past his sell-by date,” King tweeted. “Don’t vote for an old man who won’t release his medical records.”

With President Joe Biden, 81, bowing out of the presidential race in July, Trump, 78, now has the possibility of becoming the oldest sitting president. He would be 82 at the end of his potential second term.

Yet, despite his advanced age, Trump has refused to provide a glimpse into his records.

When asked about his health in 2015, he provided a four-paragraph letter from his doctor, who claimed he would be the “healthiest person ever elected to the presidency.

Donald Trump’s rallies and public appearances have never been resounding examples of coherence and policy know-how.

But even by his standards, things have gone off the rails a lot recently.

Perhaps most striking was a bizarre town hall Monday night in Pennsylvania where Trump, after two people in the crowd had brief medical emergencies, suddenly decided to forgo further questions. He then stood onstage for 39 minutes swaying and dancing while a series of songs played.

The scene came as Trump’s increasingly rambling performances and failure to summon and pronounce words have highlighted questions about his age and mental acuity — the same issues that effectively ended President Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign just three months ago.
