He also said it was payback for US support of Israel. The Saudis revoked his citizenship in 1994 and declared AQ a terrorist outfit. So he wanted to hurt the US and turn them against the Saudis.. It was a 2-fer..

The Saudis loved having the troops there.. I saw that first hand.
