Jefferson, Franklin, and many others were Deists, even Washington leaned that way, historical fact, it was a common belief at the time, Government should be completely separated from religion

And working to make America a defined Christian nation is moving towards theocracy, just like Iran is an Islamic theocracy, did you think teaching the Ten Commandments in every school isn’t a bit forceful on Jewish and non Christian kids

The Constitution doesn't say that.

Whether or not America is a Christian nation is irrelevant because it is based on judeo Christian principles. Our right were given to us by the Creator not the govt that's w Christianity has to be done away with by the left. The first thing oppressive govts do is abolish religion the left knows they can't get away with that here so they scrub it from public discourse as much and as often as possible

Debatable, and with your logic, America is based on white male supremacy

Nobody is “oppressing” nor wanting to “abolish” religion, rather opposing establishing one religion as the State religion, that would make us a theocracy

No one has the intent to establish one religion as the State religion. America is not based on white male supremacy, and it sure isn't based on purple-haired dem liberal women and trannies which is where the dem party is now situated.

If you teach one particular religion in public schools you are attempting to establish a State religion
