What's Wrong With Donald?

Diversity Makes Greatness
Here is a guy born with a silver spoon in his mouth, the huge advantage of vast wealth to help him navigate a life in America.

But alas, that great wealth came from ripping people off. It was tainted. Dirty money. His father was a greedy cheat and a racist.

Donald had a troubled childhood. His father did not know how to love. He was obsessed with money. Donald was not the first son. He was an also-ran. His father paid him little attention, preferring to let his mother deal with him.

His older brother did not work out as the family heir to the dirty money fortume, as Donald's father had hoped.

Finally, his father gave up his older brother and accepted that Donald would be 'the one,' but only if Donald would show enough cold ruthlessness to commit completely to money above all else.

Donald learned his lesson. He only cares about money. He has no compassion for other human beings. None. All are subservient to him, or he wants nothing to do with them.

Money is the end-all be-all for Donald.

His greatest fear is that he is not super-rich, super-powerful.

That, and getting a pie in the face.

Strange fear, yes. It must represent publicly being singled out for deserving ridicule.

What a mess that man's head is!

Mary Trump, his estranged niece wrote a lot about that. Her proximity to the trump mess gave her some valuable perspective. She's a shrink.

Hello Lurch,

There is so much wrong with Donald that books have been written about it.

A library could probably be institutionalized.

The man is so messed up.

Most people could benefit from counseling with a mental health professional.

But most people can't afford it, or they refuse to justify the expense.

Trump can easily afford it but he would never consider it. His ego is so big he refuses to admit there is anything wrong with him.

Which marriage is he on? How many actual friends does he have? How many times has he been to court? How many times have courts ruled against him?

How many people has he conned or ripped off monetarily?

The man is a head case.

There are thousands of Donalds just like him in the private world that no one but family sees. What puzzles me the most is that this particular Donald is and has been for decades a media whore. *Everyone* sees the corrupt gleeful grifter for what he is -- yet a certain segment of our country worships him anyways. They have gone far beyond merely being supporters to being cult members in thrall to this horrible, vile human being.

I don't understand this.

I spent decades telling Republicans their party was chock full of racists, fascists, sociopaths, xenophobes. And I was answered with howls of protest.

The Cultish worship of Trump seems to validate what I have said for two decades.

You know, I think you're onto something. twump wasn't planning on having a presidential library 'cause his supporters don't cotton to readin' and stuff. But, now I think twump should have a presidential library -

Inside a mental institution.

One of the problems with Donald is that he has this 'Too Big To Fail' thing going. The Hollywood Access video scandal would have sunk any other candidate, but not DT.

For him, there is no bad publicity. He gets his name out there, the big news story of the day, it gets the rumors flying, everybody talking about HIM, facts begin the story but it ends up with a lot of lies, too. A lot of people get taken in. There is big money to be made talking about Donald, using him as the juice to sell advertising. The truth is not the goal. The truth becomes the victim.

The world's greatest con man was right about the 5th Avenue theory.

Trump is indeed a very, very screwed up person.

Fact is, though, I can understand a deranged person like him acting the way he has (and will continue to act) more easily than I can understand someone not as deranged accepting his behavior as acceptable in a president of the United States. Those people, are beyond redemption.

The challenge for America is this:

Is our national conviction strong enough to choose the Constitution over Donald?

Do we still stand up for what is right?

Or has the plutocracy killed that.

I can forgive people for getting conned. We have to. There are so many of them. We have to patch up our country. The Heart of America is bleeding.

Trump is a devolved mutant for sure, but he's only one of them. The real problem is the 74+ million trumpanzees.
If you're not willing to dump on them--hard--you have no chance of salvaging the nation.

As for Pollyanna's forgiving heart, it's a big part of the problem.

Look to partition, not unify.

Ra-men.

You cannot force an addict into recovery. Forgiving them does nothing either. Hoping that they see the light is useless. They either get there on their own, or they don't.

True forgiveness doesn't care if the one being forgiven is ever told so. It is in the heart of the forgiver.

Holding a grudge is stress. That hurts the one who holds the grudge, not the object of it.

Forgiveness is personal freedom. Permission to feel OK.

I forgave Donald a long time ago.

He is the victim of a cruel childhood and he has never escaped it.

A very sad man.

We just need him to stop taking out his torment on the country.

On a personal level, of course. On a national level, no. There is and should never be forgiveness for those who are actively working to destroy this country, piss on the Constitution, and break our laws.

Donald Trump isn't president any more. Perhaps best to go back to spreading fear porn over the China Virus.

Oh, heck yeah. Run him down a rail right into the courtroom, already. I, like the majority of America, want to see criminal charges brought against him.

No official forgiveness. No one is above the law. That's what America needs to see. People held responsible for their crimes, no matter how powerful they are. Especially the powerful need to be held accountable.

Answering to the law has nothing to do with forgiving him, dropping a grudge, harboring hatred for his supporters. Instead, I feel concern for them. Our fellow Americans have been conned. It happened so easily. It's very concerning. We have to drop this partisan hatred. It's really dumb and counterproductive to building a good nation.
