When bullied students end their lives, parents are suing. And schools are paying.

the mental health and stability of our children has been ignored for too long. Things that people seem to want to ignore is how did we get to where we are today. In my own school days, incidents like these were so rare that you hardly ever heard of them. Now, though, it seems like every other week we are hearing about these stories. Parents are the number one entity to blame. Finding out your kid is a bully should net that kid some serious repercussions, but all too often it's met with ignorance or people telling the kid that's being bullied to toughen up. These incidents should also wake people up to the fact that the government, even school districts, are not liable for failure to protect your kids.

School are liable. Kids are required to attend school by law.
