Charoite – This gemstone varies in color from lilac to deep purple. It is a somewhat soft, translucent gemstone that is found only in Siberia and is quite rare.

Wow. I looked that up. They're pretty. My friend would love that since her favorite color is purple. That would be a great gift for her.

I am thinking about buying $30,000 in gold and parking it in a safe deposit box....what is your opinion on that?

Make sure it never comes from China as they have a stand in they sell as Charoite. Don't ever be swayed by cheap. That one has a decent look to it with that kind of oil paint in water look but I can't be sure.
