I think there are a few plausible scenarios

1) There was a list and it was destroyed by the Deep State
2) There is a list and it would implicate people that are not guilty of pedophilia and it is being withheld to protect the innocent

What I don't believe is that Trump is implicated in anything nefarious with Epstein. If there was, the powers that be would have released it a long time ago to take him out. They would not have wasted time with phony crimes in NYC
