Hey I think the blacks are alright. I even have some black friends. I just think there is a contingent that are killing the race with drugs, illegitimacy, etc. Dont get me wrong, whites have some of these issues to and I don't blame the blacks entirely.

I blame liberals for enslaving them with socialist policies.

you realize, of course, the reason everyone was in Africa was because everything north of there was covered in ice, right?.........

You realize that the changes in pigment of skin is due to long term adaptation to different climates, right? The one thing I don't know is the scientific explanation of the Asiatic eye. Most races have rounded eyes, but Asians have the slanted eye....actually, I am 99% sure that the eyes are the same....just the skin covering is different.

There has to be a logical reason for this, but I am quite frankly too tired to Google it.

20,000 years should be adequate for that.....shucks, all dog breeds developed from the wild in only 5-10k.......probably most of them in the last 1000......

There is a multitude of evidence proving the theories and effects of evolution. Other than fantasy-land there is no proof of the accuracy of any creationist thought, much less any credible theory. But, the purpose of my OP was to point out that we're all Africans no matter our particular school, I use that term lightly, of thought. Our origins are the same.

Explain that to babies born missing feet, hands, hearing, sight, arms. legs, two heads, etc. Wrong-headed thinking of whomever buys into that bullshit. But, I DO get your drift and take your meaning well, pimp.

Bottom line, some things we just ain't sure of.

To Steelplate's point, absolutely the different pigmentations appear to come from climate exposure and adaptation. And we absolutely are made the same way, no matter our skin color or eye covering formation. And I didn't need science to tell me that, but they have, and once again science supports biblical teaching by doing so.

Like I said, some things we just ain't sure of, but my faith is strong enough to believe that God and science can co-exist. In other words, it doesn't have to be an all or nothing choice.

It's called a epicanthic fold it it's origins are from Africa and not Asia.

how far south did the ice age glaciers run then?.....

apparently Europe and Asia's ice pack didn't run as far south as North America's......I had assumed it would be more uniform.....still, to stay warm humans would have had to move pretty far south.....Italy would have been as cold as northern Canada is today.....

If your heritage is non-African, you are part Neanderthal, according to a new study in the July issue of Molecular Biology and Evolution. Discovery News has been reporting on human/Neanderthal interbreeding for some time now, so this latest research confirms earlier findings.

Damian Labuda of the University of Montreal's Department of Pediatrics and the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Center conducted the study with his colleagues. They determined some of the human X chromosome originates from Neanderthals, but only in people of non-African heritage.

"This confirms recent findings suggesting that the two populations interbred," Labuda was quoted as saying in a press release. His team believes most, if not all, of the interbreeding took place in the Middle East, while modern humans were migrating out of Africa and spreading to other regions.
